Garstang and Preston Motor Club

Organised by Garstang and Preston Motor Club, rally car action returns to Three Sisters as around 60 cars compete on up to 12 special stages. Cars competing will range from sub 1000 cc cars driven by the stars of the future, right up to the latest 4 wheel drive Rally 2 cars as seen in the World Rally Championship. In between there will be a mixture of front and rear wheel drive cars challenging for class awards based on engine size ranging from virtually standard cars with just the mandatory safety equipment up to highly modified specialist rally cars, including Ford Escorts with modern high power multi cam 16 valve engines. An exiting days motor sport is expected with cars starting each stage at 30 second intervals creating virtually non-stop action from 10:00 am until late afternoon. Competition is expected to be close with only a handful of seconds separating both the overall leader board and individual class battles.
