Upcoming Car Track Days

Important: Electric and Hybrid Cars

Three Sisters Circuit will not allow electric vehicles of any kind - including hybrids - onto the circuit for Car Track Days or Car Track Attack Days. If you turn up in anything other than a purely Internal Combustion Engine car, you will not be allowed on track.

Want to have fun in your car?
...then get on circuit at Three Sisters!

Let’s face it, you simply can't drive fast on public roads – it’s dangerous, morally wrong, there's a high risk of injuring other people or yourself, maybe damaging your car, and of course there are cameras everywhere these days. So, if like us, you want to drive fast, a circuit is the only place to do it, hence the increased popularity of track days over the last few years.

Car Track days are the next step up from Track Attack days and differ in that they run on an 'all-day' basis from 9am to 5pm. They need to be pre-booked, and they run in sessions according to the type of car and experience of the driver as follows:

  • Novice
  • Road-Car
  • Track-Day Car.

Whilst there are no speed limits on a track day, they are non-competitive events with timing or racing strictly forbidden. All the major circuits around the UK host track days throughout the year, but they can be an intimidating place if you’ve never driven on a circuit before.

Three Sisters Circuit is the perfect venue to learn the art of track driving. Experience the thrill of driving your own car at speed, while exploring its capabilities in a safe, controlled and relaxed environment.

You will run in your own group, be that Novice, Road-Car or Track-Day Car, so there is no need for drivers to feel under any pressure from faster or even slower cars on circuit. We also limit the number of cars on circuit to ten, so there’s plenty of space to have fun without worrying about other vehicles.

If you have little or no circuit driving experience, the Novice group is the perfect introduction to track-day driving. Your car needs to be road legal and have a current MOT.

For those drivers that have taken part a few track days and have some circuit experience, the Road-Car group will be the best fit. Your car needs to be road legal and have a current MOT.

Our new Track-Day Car group is for what it says on the tin: purpose built track cars or high performance cars that do not require a MOT ...BUT they must be well maintained and be capable of operating safely at the speeds that will be achieved.

Three Sisters Car Track Days offer the following benefits:

  • Full safety briefing before the track time starts.
  • The groups are split into 15-minute sessions which will offer plenty of track time throughout the day.
  • No more than ten cars on track at any one time.
  • Cones are placed on the circuit edge to aid effective braking.
  • Turn-in and apex cones are placed on the circuit edge to help you master the racing line.
  • Helmets are available to hire (at extra cost).
  • In-car coaching is available all day (on request at extra cost).
  • Classroom sessions are available, covering advanced driving techniques (at extra cost).

Price for the main driver

  • £115 for the day.

Detailed Car Track Day FAQs

Add-ons available on the day:

If you would like to book any of the following add-ons for your Car Track Day, please contact the office directly, in advance of your booked event.

1. Additional driver - £39.50 or £115 (see below)

  • If you have two drivers sharing one car, you can either take it in turns to drive in your allotted group sessions, or you can buy a place in another group for the second driver. In the case of the latter, although we will try to arrange it so that the shared car gets a 15-minute break between each of the two driver’s sessions, it cannot be guaranteed. You should also make sure that your car is capable of running on track for up to 30 minutes in any hour with limited time available to cool down.
  • The cost for an additional driver driving in the same group as the main driver is £39.50. The cost for an additional driver driving in an additional group to the main driver is £115.

2. 1-to-1 instruction - £79 for two 15-min sessions

  • Booking some in-car instruction is the most effective way to improve your driving technique, making you a faster and safer driver. It also benefits your car as you learn to drive smoothly by reducing your inputs through the controls, which drastically reduces wear and tear on your vehicle.
  • Our instructors are all experienced racers with a minimum Grade A Instructors License from the Association of Racing Driver Schools.
  • In-car instruction is sold as a minimum package of two 15-minute sessions at a total cost of £79.

3. Classroom sessions - £79 for three 15-min sessions

In addition to 1-to-1 in-car instruction, we also offer our Driver Classroom Training sessions. These offer the perfect introduction to the advanced circuit driving techniques that will help you build up your pace in a safe and effective manner. The package includes three classroom sessions in the morning of the track day, arranged in between your sessions on circuit as follows:

  • Session 1: vision, hand position, lines (turn-in, apex, exit points), braking points, wet-weather techniques.
  • Session 2: weight transfer, understeer, oversteer.
  • Session 3: progressive braking, cadence braking, trail braking, heel & toeing.

Please note that if you require in-car tuition in addition to the classroom sessions, this needs to be booked separately.

4. Helmet hire - £14 per driver

If you do not have your own helmet, we can supply full face helmets in a range of sizes for £14 per driver, including a balaclava.

5. Passengers - £29 per person

Passengers must be 16yrs or over and only one at a time in the vehicle.
