Three Sisters Circuit is a 1.5km, MotorsportUK-licensed outdoor race circuit in Ashton-in-Makerfield, south of Wigan, only 16 miles distance from the centre of Liverpool. It is about 25 minutes by car or motorbike from the M57 at Knowsley or Prescot, or 30 minutes from The Switch between Sefton, Melling and Aintree.

The circuit schedules ​​adult outdoor karting in 20 or 30-minute sessions on most Thursday and Friday evenings throughout the year, as well as discounted karting sessions on most Monday evenings (click here for forthcoming dates). The circuit offers an exciting step-up for those more used to the limitations of indoor karting in the Liverpool area. Please note that adult karting sessions must be pre-booked - they are not arrive-and-drive activities.

For kart racing enthusiasts living in and around Liverpool, Three Sisters Circuit offers a wide range of sprint and endurance championships held throughout the year for teams and individuals. Known as 'open' races, they are open to any driver aged 16 or over, providing the driver's experience matches the particular series entry requirements. Note that if a driver is under the age of 18, they must bring a parent or guardian with them on the day to counter-sign the required indemnity form. One-off race entries from Liverpool residents are also welcome - the entire championship does not need to be entered.

Parents of children keen to learn to race have a choice of even more karting activities near Liverpool, whether from Vauxhall, Everton, Wavertree or Garston. Even Birkenhead is only 20 miles away by car! The venue offers Arrive 'n' Drive karting for children during most school holidays. Junior, Cadet and Bambino kart racing schools are regularly run for children aged 6 years and upwards, and Junior and Cadet kart clubs are offered for Liverpool kids wanting to experience racing from an early age. Even early driving experiences are available for children aged 10 to 16 from Liverpool who are itching to learn to drive a car.

This renowned drift circuit is used by the likes of Drift League GB for championship events, and is only 12 miles from Runcorn, Halewood, Kirkby and Ormskirk. It is even closer for those living north-west of Prescot. So there is no excuse for any drift enthusiasts from the Liverpool area not to visit the circuit when it hosts one of its very popular drifting events.

Car and Bike Track Days Near Liverpool

For residents of Merseyside who want to discover what their road-legal car or motorbike handles like on an outdoor motorsport circuit near Liverpool, Three Sisters Circuit is the place to go. This renowned Motorsport UK licensed circuit offers bike track days and car track days for riders and drivers ranging in skill-level from novice to licensed ACU and Supermoto bikers, as well as for drivers with a Motorsport UK competition licence, be that for Race, Hill Climb, Sprint or Rally. The circuit is often utilised for testing and development by race teams and race car owners based in the Liverpool/Merseyside area, but even racetrack novices are welcome to participate in one of the regular Car Track Attack and Bike Attack events held at Three Sisters, using their own road-legal machines.
