Three Sisters Circuit is an outdoor, MotorsportUK-licensed, 1.5km race circuit in Wigan, only 17 miles down the M6 from Preston. It is about 30 minutes by car or motorbike from the M6 at Samlesbury, or 40 minutes from Ashton-on-Ribble or Penwortham.

The circuit offers ​​adult outdoor karting sessions of either 20 or 30-minutes on selected dates throughout the year, as well as 'Monday Madness' discounted karting sessions on most Monday evenings (click here for forthcoming dates). For those wanting to move up the karting ladder from the limitations of indoor karting in the Preston area, these karting sessions are an ideal way to get used to a proper motorsport circuit. Note that adult karting sessions must be pre-booked - they are not casual arrive-and-drive events.

For karting enthusiasts living in and around Preston, Three Sisters Circuit offers a range of sprint and endurance championships for teams and individuals who want to take things to the next level. Known as 'open' races, any driver aged 16 or over can enter, providing their experience matches the entry requirements of the particular series they are interested in. Note that if a driver is under the age of 18, a parent or guardian needs to accompany them on the day to counter-sign the required indemnity form. One-off race entries from Preston residents are also welcome - entire championships do not need to be entered.

So there is no excuse for any drift enthusiasts from the Preston area not to pop down the M6 to take part in, or to watch, one of the circuit's popular drifting events.

For residents of Preston, Leyland or Chorley who want to discover what their road-legal motorbike or car handles like on an outdoor track near Preston, Three Sisters Circuit is the place to find out. This renowned Motorsport UK licensed 1.5km circuit offers bike and car track days for riders and drivers ranging from novice level to licensed ACU and Supermoto bikers, as well as for car drivers with a Motorsport UK competition licence (Race, Hill Climb, Sprint or Rally). The circuit is often used for testing and tuning by race teams and race car owners based in the Preston area, but even novices with their own road-legal machines are welcome to take part in one of the regular Car Track Attack and Bike Attack events held at the circuit.
